Starship HLS and Blue Moon Mark 2 lunar missions compared step by step

Immersive room comparison · 2026 · 3:22

A six-wall IGLOO comparison of the two crewed lunar landers NASA has selected, using published facts only. Values that have not been published are marked as open.

This IGLOO comparison sets two lunar lander missions side by side. One wall plays both missions step by step. Two walls show each lander's design. The other walls show a shared timeline, an overhead view of both missions' orbits between Earth and the Moon, and the launch sites and in-space hardware each mission needs.

Every number on screen comes from a published source. Where NASA or the companies have not published a value, the screen says so instead of estimating it. The version on this page shows all six walls on one screen.
